Japan hiring 15,000 nurses from Manipur

 It what can only been seen as a boost to ties between Manipur and Japan, the Japanese government has called for 15,000 nurses to be sent from Manipur to Japan. There has been an increase in demand of nurses from the state in South East Asian countries who are widely seen as compassionate and sympathetic.
The government is planning on opening a Nursing College in Jawaharlal Nehru Institute of Medical Sciences which is located in Imphal. International Nurses Day is celebrated on May 12 worldwide. The Manipur government felicitated nurses on this day with awards given out to outstanding and dedicated nurses.
