ELIGIBILITY :
1. For Arts graduate teacher (AGT):
   (a).  Graduate in Arts from a recognised university/institution.
   (b). B.Ed or its equivalent from a recognised university /institution.
DESIRABLE: (i) Master degree.
                       (ii) Knowledge of manipuri.
2. For science graduate teacher (SGT):
    (a) Graduate in Science from a recognised university / institution.
   (b).  B.Ed or its equivalent from a recognised university / institution.
DESIRABLE : (i)Master degree.
                        (ii) Knowledge of manipuri.
3.For  English graduate teacher(EGT):
   (a) Graduate in English from a recognised university / institution.
  (b) B. Ed or its equivalent from a recognised university /institution.
DESIRABLE : (i) Master degree.
                        (ii)Knowledge of Manipuri.
4.For Mathematics graduate teacher (MGT):
 (a). Graduate in Mathematics from a recognised university / institution.
 (b) B. Ed or its equivalent from a recognised university /institution.
DESIRABLE : (i) Master degree.
                        (ii)Knowledge of Manipuri.
5. For Language graduate teacher(LGT):
   (a) For manipuri/hindi/Addl.English /nepali.
    (i) Graduate in concerned subject.
                       AND
    (ii) B.Ed or its equivalent from a recognised university / institution.
DESIRABLE : (i) Master degree.
                        (ii)Knowledge of Manipuri.
   (b).  For Tangkhul/Ruangmei /Thadou-kuki/ Mizo/Zou/Vaiphei/Kom/Mao/Paite/Hmar/Liangmei.
    (i)Graduate from recognised university
                       AND
    (ii) Mother tongue in concerned tribal language recognised by BOSEM.
DESIRABLE : (i) Certificate of training from a recognised institution.

AGE: The age of candidates should not be more than 38 years as on 11th May 2016. 5 years relaxable for SC/ST and 3 years for OBC candidates.
METHOD OF SELECTION : The method of selection shall be in accordance with the relevant recruitment rules and weightage of academic scores and interview as given in the table:

ISSUE OF APPLICATION : Willing and eligible candidates who are duly sponsored by the concerned employment exchange offices with the stipulated time should download the application form from the website of education(s) department www.manipuredication.gov.in   from 16th May 2016 onwards.
APPLICATION FEE : Rs 500/-for unreserved candidates and OBC candidates and Rs 250/- for SC/ST candidates. Applications fee should be deposited in cash at the time of submission of application form at the Directorate office, Lamphelpat on before 3:00 PM  of 27 June 2016.
