The overall pass percentage of the SSLC 2016 exam stands at 79.16 percentage. The results of the 2016 exam, announced on Monday, is a dip compared to 81.82 per cent recorded last year.
Announcing the results on Monday, Minister of State for Primary and Secondary Education Kimmane Ratnakar said that Bangalore rural with 89.63 percent had secured the best pass percentage.
Maintaining the annual trend like every year, girls with percentage of 82.62 have fared better than the boys with a pass percentage of 75.84 percent. Rural students with a pass percent of 80.36 percent have fared better than their urban counter parts with 77.63 percent. Ranjan S. from Bhadravati’s Poorna Pragna School has scored the highest marks by securing 625 out of 625.
