Chennai: While Reliance Jio is continuing its free services to customers under Jio Dhan Dhana Dhan offer, the three telecom majors Airtel, Vodafone and Idea have introduced new slashed rate offers to retain their customer base. These offers give personalized options to customers based on their individual usage.
All these data-heavy offers intend retaining their customer base and prevent them from opting for Jio Prime services. These launches come at a time when Jio’s Prime membership sign up deadline nears. The deadline for Rs 99 subscription for Jio prime is 15th April.
Rs 244 pack from Airtel
The Rs 244 offer provides 1GB data every day with validity of 70 days to all 4G smartphone and 4G SIM Cards. This has no restriction with data consumption timing except the daily FUP of 1GB. The Airtel mobile app and website claim that users get unlimited STD calling and local calling, however the daily free Airtel to Airtel call limit is 300 minutes, and a total of 1200 minutes of free calls per week to the other networks. For usage beyond the free calling limit, the charge will be Rs 0.10 per minute.
Rs 399 pack from Airtel
The Rs 399 pack from Airtel provides 1GB data every day for all the 4G smartphones and 4G SIM cards. To all other networks, users can make free phone calls, however it is limited to 3000 minutes for a total of 70 days period. Once the free limit is exhausted, the calls will be charged at Rs 0.10 per minute. There is also free Airtel to Airtel calls for 300 minutes per day and 1200 minutes per week.
Rs 345 pack from Airtel
There is one more offer for Rs 345. This offers 1 to 2 GB data limit per day. Coming on to the data consumption limit, there is no restriction with the timing at all. The users are restricted to use 500MB between 12 am and 6 am and the remaining 500 MB during the remaining hours. The Rs 345 pack comes with 28 days validity and has the free calling offers the same as Rs 399 pack.
Vodafone Rs 352 offer
Coming on to Vodafone offers, there is Rs 352 pack under which users get 1GB data per day with validity of 56 days. This is equivalent to 28 days cycles. Together with this, there is Vodafone Super Offer pack that offers free local and STD voice calling completely for free. These offers are however unavailable on Vodafone website or MyVodafone app. To avail the offer, approach any Vodafone outlet.
Rs 297 pack from Idea
The Rs 297 pack from Idea offers 1GB data with a validity of 70 days for all 4G SIM cards and 4G Smartphones. Users enjoy free 300 minutes of calls in a day and 1200 minutes in a week within Idea network beyond which 30 paisa will be charged per minute of call.
Rs 447 pack from Idea
There is also another pack for Rs 447 where users get 1GB data per day and also free voice calling to any other network with a validity of 70 days. Here, the free calls to other networks is just 3000 minutes beyond which 30 paise per minute is quoted. Calls made within the network are the same as Rs 297 pack.
