Two terrorists carrying new Rs 2000 notes were shot down by the Indian Army in Bandipora district of Jammu and Kashmir on Tuesday.
The encounter took place early in the morning after the Army and the police cordoned off the area and opened fire. Combing operations in the area is underway.
Meanwhile, a Pakistani intruder was killed by the BSF along the International Border (IB) in RS Pura sector of Jammu.

“He was challenged by troops and was shot when he did not pay heed,” said BSF in a statement.
On Monday, a BSF head constable was killed and three other army men were injured after Pakistani Army resorted to heavy cross-border firing in Rajouri sector.
Since India conducted surgical strikes on terror launch pads in Pakistan Occupied Kashmir (PoK) on September 29, there has been a steep rise in incidents of cross-border shelling along the LoC and IB in Jammu and Kashmir.
